When we visited Kalu Waterfall, it was late at night, and we had no idea about the bus timings. Some buses came and went without stopping. The restaurant owners helped us catch a bus, and they even tried to help us by attempting to flag down other pickup vans. They stood with us on the road until we got a bus back to Nashik.
